The Mobile Web: Where to Start.

By analyzing the development of three very different mobile web projects – from the Rijksmuseum, Baltimore Museum of Art and Walker Art Center – this session will explore the strengths and weaknesses of mobile web development approaches including dedicated mobile sites, responsive web sites and mobile first.Please register or sign in to access this session.
Nate Solas is the Senior New Media Developer & Head Technologist at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN. In that role, Solas leads the team responsible for back-end development and database work for all Walker web properties: walkerart.org, artsconnected.org, and mnartists.org
Carolyn Royson is Head of Digital Media at Imperial War Museums and is responsible for the development, delivery and provision of all public-facing digital outputs across the museum’s five branches: IWM London, Churchill War Rooms, HMS Belfast, IWM Duxford and IWM North.
Gamynne Guillotte is the Director of Interpretation and Public Engagement at The Baltimore Museum of Art, where she is responsible for realizing interpretive spaces, resources, and activities.
Peter Gorgels works at the Rijksmuseum, Holland, as manager of digital communication, including the corporate website, the online collection and Rijksstudio.
