Elena Villaespesa works as Web Analyst and Producer at Tate. She is responsible for managing the digital analytics and content of Tate’s website. This includes producing website, mobile and social media metrics reports, and co-ordinating user testing and surveys, to inform decision making across Tate with the aim of improving user journeys across different digital platforms. She previously worked at the Education and Research Department at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Spain building a new website for the department, creating online learning resources and managing its social media activity. Elena is also a PhD student on Digital Heritage at the School of Museum Studies, University of Leicester. Her research is about how to measure the impact and value of museums on the Social Web. In this capacity, she is working on the project led by Culture24 ‘How to evaluate online success?’
